What We are Looking For
Westminster is seeking a Coordinator of Campus Ministry who seeks to follow Jesus Christ in daily living, affirms and celebrates all as bearers of God’s image, and enjoys creating inclusive and formative spaces. The coordinator will minister to and with students at the University of Virginia, serving as a primary liaison between the student community and the church. The Coordinator of Campus Ministry is a part-time position, supervised directly by the Senior Pastor/Head of Staff.
Position Responsibilities
- Advise the UVA UKirk Student Organization
- Seek advisement and support from the national UKirk ministry (ukirk.org)
- Organize and lead a weekly UKirk evening gathering for students; serve as resource to students as they possibly organize and lead additional gatherings.
- Maintain onsite office hours and meet with students in a mentoring capacity
- Initiate and maintain partnerships with different ministries of WPC, actively incorporating students into the life and witness of the church
- Discern, plan, pursue a communication strategy that engages students in UKirk and Westminster Presbyterian ministries
- Actively recruit students, especially incoming first-year students, during the summer of 2026
- Other responsibilities as needed

Compensation and Benefits
- Range between $27 and $32 per hour commensurate with experience
