It often feels these days like our world is on the brink of catastrophe, and all our actions are like trying to light a candle in a windstorm – such a small gesture in the midst of such chaos. But just like the darkness can be broken by a single light, one response to the brokenness of the world is to invest in the kind of future we wish to see. The kind of future God is calling us to co-create with God’s Spirit.

What does this look like in our lives and ministries? This August, you and your students are invited to join UKirk and Columbia Theological Seminary at our first UKirk Leaders Retreat that will explore what it means to answer the call to co-create with God.

We’ll explore together the question, “What does it mean to be a servant leader in today’s world?” Through worship, workshops, keynote addresses and conversations, both individual students and campus ministry leadership teams will be invited to gather with others from around the Southeast to explore the various ways they are called to serve others on campus and in their careers after college.

Interested in attending or learning more? Please fill out this UKirk Leadership Retreat Interest Form.

The cost is only $100 a person which includes registration, all meals, and lodging at a nearby hotel. Registration is open and will close May 15th. For more information, contact Gini Norris-Lane at [email protected] or Ann-Henley Nicholson at [email protected].
