Ministry with young adults can be hard. Not only do each of them bring their particular stories, ideas, and experiences, they are all navigating an educational system that can be overwhelming and demanding. Into that space, you step in and embody Christ’s presence. You accompany them through joys, successes, friendships, and adventures as well as mental health crises, grief, frustration, and self-doubt. Ministry with young adults is hard work even as it is holy work.
Join with others from the UKirk Network, Episcopal Church, and ELCA Network, LuMin, this summer on the beautiful campus at Washington University in St. Louis, from June 24-27, to worship, laugh, engage, and connect. The cost is $300, and scholarships are available. (Just check the scholarship box at the end of the registration form.)
If you have been in your current call 3 years or less you are invited to a pre-conference gathering. There is no cost for the June 22-24 pre-conference “orientation”, and even if you cannot stay for the full conference we would love to have you!
