Emerging Leaders Program @ Auburn Seminary

Do you know a student or young alum from your UKirk Network Ministry who wants to learn more about how to bridge divides, build community, pursue justice, and heal the world? Auburn Theological Seminary’s Emerging Leaders Program may be something they want to look into!

If you are or know an emerging leader aged 18-35 rooted in any faith tradition, they can apply now to join the next Auburn Theological Seminary Emerging Leaders cohort April 21-25 in Washington, DC.

What can they expect? Here’s what a member of our last cohort said:

It’s a very rare privilege to be able to take some space away from the hectic-ness of the everyday justice work that we’re doing and actually take some time to envision what a healed world could look like. And I’ve been so grateful to be able to have that space this week with all of these amazing people. It’s been a gift, really….I mean, you can’t heal the world unless you have a vision for what a healed world could look like. And to me, it is a multicultural world. It’s a world where everybody is so steeped and rooted in their own tradition, and in their culture, and their community, and able to then bring those gifts to connect with others.

The Janet Prindle Center for Prophetic Leadership will host the event at the Virginia Mae Center at the Washington National Cathedral, April 21-25, 2025.

All costs (program, travel within the U.S., lodging, and meals during the program) for those selected to participate in this cohort will be paid for by Auburn Theological Seminary.

Complete the application form to reflect your interests and experience.

Applications are due by February 15 and participants will be notified by March 21.

This selective program aims to compose a diverse and committed cohort. Visit their website to learn more.
