Final Call for our Fall Fundraising Training Cohort

Tamika Nelson of UCM Houston will be leading our Fall fundraising cohort, Taking Donors Seriously, that will begin on Monday, August 4th. The deadline to register was June 30, 2025, but if you just forgot to sign up contact Gini Norris-Lane ASAP so we can make sure to include you!
The cost for the TDS Fundraising Cohort is $1,250 per ministry organization, and includes access to the TDS virtual training modules for one year, workbook, graphic design templates for the case for support, food and hotel costs for 1 person per ministry organization while in Houston for the in-person workshop, and a $200 travel stipend per ministry. Each ministry will also receive one 60-minute coaching session. If your ministry is a 1001NWC, you may be eligible for grant support.
As we know that it is important for both campus ministry leaders and board members to work together in fundraising efforts, we invite each organization to have two people participate in the virtual cohort conversations. Please keep in mind each ministry organization will only receive one username and login to the curriculum and modules. The cost for the 2nd person to attend the in-person workshop is an additional $500 which will cover food and hotel costs in addition to any travel expenses they incur. The 2nd person is not eligible for a travel stipend.

The cohort will begin on Monday, August 4th, from 3:00 – 4:30 pm (Eastern); 2:00 – 3:30 pm (Central); 1:00 – 2:30 pm (Mountain); Noon – 1:30 pm (Pacific), and will meet at the same time each month on the following dates:

August 4th
September 8th
October 6th
November 3rd
December 1st
We will have an in-person meeting in Houston, Texas, on Thursday, November 20-Saturday, November 22. (Arrive for dinner on Thursday the 20th, we’ll be done by 4 pm on Friday, November 21 and November 22 is a travel day). William P. Hobby Airport is the most convenient airport to fly in and out of for our in-person workshop, but George Bush International Airport is also an option.
