Even though it is the middle of the summer the Fall semester is just around the corner, and so is our UKirk Leadership Retreat August 12th – 14th at Columbia Theological Seminary. During our time together, students and campus ministry leaders will focus on these four aspects of servant leadership:
Servant Leadership is…
- Grounded in Scripture and God’s Call to Serve the Common Good
- Knowing Ourselves and Discovering our Gifts
- Caring for Ourselves and Others
- Living in Community, Even When We Disagree
The cost is $100 a person, and scholarships are available! The fee covers registration, materials, food and lodging at a nearby hotel. We will begin with registration at 3 pm on August 12th and end at Noon on Friday, August 14th.
Our time together will be interactive and include interactive plenaries, worship, personal reflection and time to make connections with other college students. There will be two afternoon “tracks” – one for individuals and one for student leadership teams so whether you are coming alone or with a group of friends or your campus ministry group, there is something for you!
