PC(USA) Christian Formation Fall Cohort Registration is Open!

These Fall cohorts have been developed in partnership with organizations that are part of the Christian Formation Collective (APCE, PYWA, UKirk and POAMN) as well as other ministry areas within the Presbyterian Mission Agency. There are a variety of cohort options for those working in Faith Formation ministries, so please pass this along to your colleagues who work with children, youth, and adults of all ages. A few that might interest Network ministers are:

Enhance and Innovate: Campus and Collegiate Ministries (for church leaders who are exploring their call to minister to college students)
Is your church or worshiping community thinking about how best to support college students? This cohort will include content from UKirk Collegiate Ministries about models of collegiate ministries as well as best practices with GenZ. Participants will talk about ways to support and develop programs for college students. (Wednesdays, 3-4:30 Eastern)

Leading Well: Explore what leadership looks like for the future of ministry. Explore adaptive leadership skills, how we engage in self-care and sabbath and look at new ways to get support, continuing education, and care for ourselves as a whole person. (Tuesdays,1-2:30 Eastern)

Matthew 25 and Faith Formation Ministries: This cohort will bring together leaders that are part of communities that are engaged in the M25 initiative to explore ways to form disciples that join God at work in our neighborhoods and the world. (Tuesdays, 2-3:30 Eastern)

(Congregational) Vitality in a Post Pandemic Church: Vitality is not about the number of people who attend church, nor about the money we take in tithes and offerings. It is about how we connect with the community we serve and partnerships we strengthen with others. Join us as we journey through uncharted territory to uncover ministry vitality in inventive ways. This cohort will be coached by the coordinator of the Vital Congregations Initiative of the Presbyterian Mission Agency, Veronica Cannon. All are welcome, you do not have to be enrolled in the initiative. (Tuesdays, Noon-1:30 Eastern)
