We are excited to share that Rev. Bruce Reyes Chow will be our keynote speaker for the 2024 UKirk National Gathering, “Good God, Y’all!” June 11-14, 2024, at Ferncliff Camp & Conference Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is a sought-after speaker and writer on topics of faith, culture, politics, race, and technology. He is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), has led churches in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly three decades, and is a former moderator of the PC(USA). Reyes-Chow, who is third-generation Filipino- Chinese American, hosts the podcast BRC & Friends and has authored five books, most recently In Defense of Kindness. A senior consultant and coach with Convergence, Reyes-Chow and his spouse have three adult children and live in San Jose, CA.
His forthcoming book “Everything Good About God is True” is a primer on progressive, expansive, generous Christianity, where Bruce offers his own “faith montage” and helps individuals and groups create their own. There is a more loving, more genuine vision of God than the one we see being performed around us, and this book helps us find it.
Registration for the event will open November 30th! Participants in the 2024 UKirk National Gathering will receive a free copy of “Everything Good About God is True” with their registration.
Cost will be $575 for a single room*, $275 for double-occupancy in a hotel-style room with two double beds, and $175 for those staying in the Retreat House. Full and partial scholarships will be available for UKirk Network leaders.
