Our summer series starts tomorrow morning. You are receiving this email because you either said “Yes, put me on the list because I would like to participate when I can,” or you are receiving it because you recently participated and I think you would like to know what is going on at Peterson House this summer. If you want me to remove you from the weekly reminder emails sent each Tuesday prior to the Wednesday morning session just let me know and I will update that on our side.This series invites us into the world of Peter and his walk alongside Jesus. We hope this series will accomplish several things: nurturing time spent in the text with others, increasing awareness of how Jesus and Peter experienced real life together, and providing a space for you to recommit to walking with Jesus in your own life. Not in some kind of distant way that is a discipline of the mind, but in a close way, like Peter, that transforms and sustains your heart. It is the way Jesus always wanted to be experienced.
The call will go live at 8:55 AM EST tomorrow. When you log on, you will find a still image and instrumental music. Let that time help you adjust from the noise in your life to a quiet space. We will open with prayer shortly after 9AM and then move into our time together. Here is a basic flow of what we facilitate at Peterson House:
- Opening Prayer
- Welcome
- Quick introduction to this 7-session series
- Brief background on the particular text
- Centering exercise
- Hear the text read x3 with a silence in between
- 10-minutes of personal time with the text
- Return to hear a few things that stood out
- Hear the text a 4th time
- Closing song
- Prayer (wrapping up by 10 AM EST)

July 8: Mark 10- “Do For Us Whatever We Ask”

July 22: Mark 15- “The Death of Death”
July 29: Mark 16- “He Is Not Here”
