As we gather around tables to celebrate Maundy Thursday and remember Jesus’ commandments to love and serve one another, Ryan Werner and Alaide Vilchis Ibarra from Together Lab in Oregon shared the following four practices during our recent UKirk Virtual Gathering conversation:
- One-to-One Relationship Building
- House Meetings
- Listening to Yourself
- Group and Individual Discernment process to use during flash points
They gave us a guide to use for each practice, as well as resources for faith communities to use around the “Know Your Rights” campaign. All are available for UKirk Network Ministers under the Community Resources tab under Resources.
