UKirk News & Events, December 7th, 2023

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! The UKirk National Board extends our warmest greetings to you and yours this holiday season.

It has been an exciting and hopeful year across the UKirk National network. We have seen growth, connection, and support across ministries and college campuses. Our National Gathering included over forty campus ministries and provided much needed space for sabbath, play, and resources. But, perhaps the most poignant news is Rev. Gini Norris-Lane becoming our full time executive director. With her in this role, UKirk National is more connected than ever.

In 2019, when the UKirk National Board first met with Rev. Gini Norris-Lane as our part-time executive director, one of our visions for the future was one day promoting Gini to being full time. Over the past 4 years, Gini’s leadership across the network has been invaluable. She provides pastoral care to many of our campus ministers, navigating personal and professional needs that arise for those in (and outside of) the UKirk network. Gini also provides opportunities for personal and professional growth, from small groups to creative programming throughout the year. She provides an invaluable connectional thread that creates relationships across campus ministries. Having Gini as our full time executive director has given UKirk National new life and hope for the future.

As this incredible year comes to a close, we need your help more than ever. Until December 31st, every donation made to UKirk National will be matched dollar for dollar. Each and every gift, whether $25 or $250 is extremely important to the future of this ministry. Your gift will help us continue to grow this connectional network and support our campus ministers and ministries across the network. You can give online here.

With your help, we will continue to live UKirk National’s mission to care, coach, educate, and advocate for our campus ministers and ministries across the country.

Thank you in advance for your continued support!

In hope,

The UKirk National Board
