DESCRIPTION

Grace Presbytery is excited to partner with Texas Christian University (TCU) to launch TCU’s UKIRK program.  We are seeking a full-time PC (U.S.A.) UKIRK Campus Minister to lead this initiative and serve as a covenant partner and community liaison.

The Campus Minister will:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of a dynamic UKIRK campus ministry program that fosters faith exploration, spiritual growth, community, and inclusivity for TCU students
  • Develop and nurture relationships with local PC (U.S.A.) churches and the presbytery, facilitating partnerships and support
  • Collaborate with the presbytery and churches to align the ministry with PC (U.S.A.) values while being responsive to TCU student needs
  • Contribute to the spiritual growth and well-being of the ministry by developing and implementing strategies to promote a sense of community, encourage ministry participation, and assist with integrating members and friends into the life of the church
  • Foster an inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds, welcoming them into the TCU community regardless of race, class, gender, or sexual orientation

We are seeking a Campus Minister who possesses these qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of PC (U.S.A.) principles, beliefs, governance, operations, mission, and practices
  • Master of Divinity from an accredited seminary
  • Ordination or eligible for ordination within Grace Presbytery / PC (U.S.A.)
  • Experience in campus ministry, pastoral leadership, or similar roles
